My foot had a total of 6 screws and my foot was in a "Beckham Boot" for several months

I suffered a Liz Franc injury - this was so named after the surgeon who diagnosed the injuries suffered by the Napoleonic Cavalry  when they were thrown off their horse at speed

Most of the bones were broken and had to be repaired using screws

They made two incisions on the top of my foot and pulled the skin up and then worked on the bones 

At some stage I will have to have the plates in my foot fused as they are bing worn away

I now cannot straighten my toes and also have ganglion
